1.A leader constantly things about his dreams. A leader focuses ahead constantly, working on a idea for a better future. Always pleased, but never ready to settle for less than what they wish for without a battle. 2.A leader heads forth before achievement is assured. If other people are not edgy, concerned, doubtful, unenthusiastic, or negative about where you are going, then it's doubtless been done before and is not a very big deal. Leaders start projects that have not been attempted. 3.A leader speaks of his own shortcomings before speaking about someone else's. Leaders are not perfect, and are happy to acknowledge what they need to improve on. They are their own worst critic, and know that the log in their own eye is often much bigger than the splinter in anothers. 4.A leader makes others excel. Positivity, motivation, inspiring, support, help & guidance, accountability, example. We all require these items. 5.A leader is swift to praise and encourage the smallest amount of improvement. Every leader knows that they got to their situation by minor, single strides in that direction, not titanic advances forward. Leaders celebrate small victories, lifting up their followers. 6.A leader is genuinely interested in his/her fellow man. People are selfish innately, and leaders know that others want and need to be listened to and focused on. 7.A leader takes others up with him/her. A smart leader surrounds themselves with others that are more gifted and more talented than themselves. 8.A leader never allows murmuring—from himself or others. Leaders never allow gossip or negative talk to creep into their business. 9.A leader does what is just rather than what is fashionable. The masses are usually looking for what is all the rage, that is why they never become great. My favorite quote is - “Two roads diverged into the wood, and I, I took the one less traveled by and that has made all the difference.” (Frost) Doing what is right will ensure that integrity and honesty is the foundation of a leaders value system. 10. A leader is a giver. A leader is the earliest one to do what no one else wants to. You don't need to look any further than when the Jesus washed his disciples feet. 11. A leader goes the extra mile. A leader does greater than what is anticipated of them. Up early, up late, drive anywhere, fly anywhere, not only willing to do the effort necessary to see victory, but willing to work harder than anyone else to get there.
