It is cheaper, hugely more effective and takes minimal effort compared to the money, effort and lack of any discernable effect of the traditional approach to Motivation. It is what happens to them in the workplace that demotivates them. Why should a third party be paid to motivate the workforce when they return to exactly the same conditions that demotivated them in the first place. It is like washing the sheets until they are sparkling white then spreading them out on a muddy path to dry.
